Hosts
October 13 Business Building & Educational
Seminar
For those of you not familiar
with Components, this will be a perfect
opportunity for you to see what we do
and how well we do it.
We specialize in Intuitive
Control, Entertainment and Security Solutions
for both homes and businesses. Have you seen
those commercials on TV where you can control
your entire home from your mobile device? We do
that! How about being able to listen to your
favorite audio tracks anywhere you'd like? We do
that too! And don't forget about protecting your
property and loved ones. Whether it is a basic
security system or a sophisticated
surveillance system we can design a
solution to meet the need. Throughout the event
feel free to step into our showroom and see
everything spoken of above in action.
We will begin at 5:45pm with
plenty of time for networking prior the meeting
as well as more networking opportunities
throughout the night. During dinner, we will
also be privileged to be mentally fed by guest
speaker Steve Klitsch. So bring your business
cards for networking and an empty stomach for
some great barbeque. We look forward to seeing
you there.
RSVP by
Friday, October 8 with
the names in your party to Jetta
by clicking here or at (480)
419-1631. Monthly member dues are just $10.00.
Guests are $25.00 with cash or checks at the
door. |
Educational
Seminar
"Low Cost High Impact
Marketing"
We welcome Steve Klitsch, a
Maryland NARI member and Past President,
to kick off our annual recruitment drive
with a special educational seminar.
Klitsch has 30 years
working in the residential remodeling industry.
He is the owner and founder of Creative Concepts
Remodeling, Inc. of Germantown MD, a suburb of
Washington DC. His firm employs 5 full time
staff and specializes in residential remodeling
with a focus on small additions, kitchens and
bathrooms.
His presentation is sponsored
by Home Depot as your Greater Phoenix NARI was
selected as one of a dozen Chapters to receive
this great benefit. Klitsch has addressed
several NARI Chapters including Austin and
Charlotte as well as JLC Live.
He adds, "When you attend my
marketing program and you do some of the things
I suggest and recommend to you, I guarantee you
will have new leads within 24 hours."
Members earn CEU's through
this
presentation. | |

President's
Message

Julie Cook
We made
it through another Arizona summer and all look
forward to fall, especially the break in our
temperature.
My
messages continually stress the importance
of your benefits with our
Association. Our newsletter is the
vehicle which keeps our members informed about
what NARI offers as well as our Chapter
meetings.
I am
often surprised that active members are
unaware of key benefits offered by NARI and was
thinking what about our members who are
less involved?
Are you
aware that Greater Phoenix NARI
offers:
- A
wonderful way to network with like-minded people
in the same industry;
- Job costing software for
contractors;
- Insurance - this allows the small
business to piggy back on a much larger entity
allowing us better buying power with a savings
on health care and prescription costs;
- Education - ways to increase your
business edge through the numerous
certifications offered by NARI and learn about
new products and services by attending monthly
meetings;
- Ways to distinguish yourself from
the competition by earning a prestigious CotY
award;
- Paths to increase exposure to
homeowners on NARI's "Search for a Remodeler"
on www.remodeltoday.com.
These are just a
few of the many benefits. To see your many
benefits go to www.greaterphoenixnari.org
and click on Membership
Benefits. Don't forget to RSVP for the October
meeting and bring a friend. It's the start of
our annual recruitment
drive.
Sincerely,
Julie

CotY
Evening of Excellence & Holiday
Gala
Saturday, December 4, 2010
6:00pm -
Midnight
Sheraton Crescent Hotel
The holidays are
coming! And with them comes the announcements of
our award winning Contractors of the Year
(CotY) at our annual Gala.
Casino night is back,
with a twist; we are headed back in time to
the roaring 20's. We hope to see everyone
dressed to suit the occasion, but of course this
is not required. However, a can of food, canned
meat specifically, will be required for passage
into our Speakeasy.
All funds will be
donated to Mary Ellen's Place, a new beginning
for our women vets returning to the states. AZ
Food Bank is in need of canned meat during the
holidays, therefore we are making a huge push to
increase their supply.
More details to come.
We are looking forward to "looking back" and
spending the evening with fellow NARI members
and our 2011 CotY award winning members.
Best of Show will be announced.

Your
Opinion Counts -- 2010 Member

At our September meeting a

take the survey. Hard copies will be available
at our next two meetings and the survey is also
available online.
The survey is short and your
feedback in invaluable in helping shape the
